Our first experience at the "Ventes Fences" with Quincy du Rezidal
Participating in the prestigious Fences Sales 2025 was a significant milestone for Haras du Rezidal. It is with great enthusiasm that we presented Quincy du Rezidal, a young stallion of 3 years from a modern cross: Copycat Z and Melitisse du Rezidal, (the first son of our home mare), herself by Elvis Ter Putte and the famous Bergamotte St Hermelle (Chin Chin).
A pedigree geared towards international sport
With a father like Copycat Z, known for his modern and high-performing genetics, and a maternal lineage of rare strength — combining the power of Elvis Ter Putte and the excellence of Bergamotte St Hermelle (Chin Chin family) — Quincy has all the assets to shine on the sporting stage.
Her presentation in Deauville, during the sale dedicated to the 3-year-olds, represented much more than a sale: it was the spotlight on an entire breeding effort.
A presentation that meets our expectations
The excitement and pride were palpable: seeing our young horse perform in such a setting, surrounded by professionals and passionate enthusiasts, was a unique experience.
Quincy rose to the occasion, confirming the qualities we know him for: a ready mindset, strength and flexibility, as well as a striking presence that left no one indifferent.
A price reduced, but great satisfaction
If the financial result did not meet our expectations, this first experience remains a success in terms of showcasing: Quincy provided a superb display of our breeding and reminded us how important it is to believe in the quality of our horses.
We leave Deauville proud of our horse and our work as breeders, confident that his sporting future will confirm all his potential.
A founding step for the Haras du Rezidal
This participation in the Fences 2025 Sales marks an important first step in the visibility of our breeding programme. It motivates us to continue producing and presenting horses capable of meeting market expectations, while remaining true to our philosophy: to select, breed, and train athletic, balanced horses destined for the highest level.
